This project will see us transform a pair of Victorian villas, currently arranged as apartments that were part of legacy portfolio of properties held before we shifted to a partnerships and main contracting model, into 13 DQR compliant apartments. Through a mix of retrofit and new-build extension, we intend to target the Passivhaus Enerphit standard on this project.
Given the buildings heritage and its proximity to the conservation area, careful design and historical analysis was undertaken to successfully champion a contemporary extension that creates separation from the period property, ensuring we complemented and referenced the existing design without mimicking. Instrumental to this was our early-stage building performance modelling, which helped made the case for a more efficient contemporary design.
Construction is programmed for mid-2025.
